The Nowergup Depot was built in 2004, and completed on 20 May 2004.The depot was designed for storage and servicing of the incoming B-series railcars, all the trains from Clarkson to Mandurah. The depot was opened on 13 June 2004 by the then Premier Geoff Gallop and Planning and Infrastructure Minister Alannah MacTiernan.
Nowergup Depot has facilities to store, service and clean 36 railcars. The depot is 2.5 kilometre long.
